This location is a Boise classic, been here as long as I can remember! Simple drive thru and walk-up window with a few tables on the patio if you'd like to stay and eat. Classic American diner/fast food and pretty much a combination of soft serve you can imagine- dipped cones,milkshakes, banana split and many MANY toppings to choose from. Service is quick and friendly, ambience is "retro", and a really fun plan to grab some eats and treats!
This local gem has some of the best ice cream cones! But today I stopped in for a quick lunch. I went through the drive through. Was instantly greeted! Placed my order and headed to the window. The gentleman working the window was so nice! Repeated my order and got me all squared away. Asked if I wanted any sauces. Food was made and he thank me and I was on my way! For lunch I got the kids cheeseburger meal. I would love to eat a big burger but I know i would not be able to eat the other half. So the kids was the perfect size. My burger was great! The patty was seasoned. The cheese was nice and melted. The pickles were tasty! And the bun was fresh and soft! I added some ketchup to that bad boy and it was perfect. The fries were so good! They were fried golden but not too hard. They were crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. The fry sauce with the fries will always be my favorite! I didn't take any food pics cause I was driving but this was absolutely the perfect sized meal for me! Fanci Freeze will always be a perfect spot for cold treats and now a juicy burger!
Sooo yummy! Loved the bread for the burgers and the shakes were amazing! I would definitely come here again.

The Oreo Coated Twist Cone looked and tasted great! I got the small cone and it was still huge (see my night pic). I came expecting to get a Flavor Burst Cone, which are still advertised online. However, they're not on the in-person menu and the counter server said they no longer offer them (stopped a while ago). I was a little disappointed because the Cotton Candy Yelp pics looked unique, but I was still super pleased with what I got. Also, nice staff that took orders and delivered cones. ... And to Nick the Manager, i was at the State St Boise location.
Pretty good food. Got a cheeseburger and fries. My sister got a chicken sandwich and fries. Tables are outside and a lot of flies.
